Recent projects underscore this commitment. The completion of the $27.8 million SR-60/Moreno Beach Drive Interchange Improvement Project in September 2024 replaced an outdated two-lane bridge with a modern seven-lane structure, reconfigured freeway ramps, and added a new westbound auxiliary lane. These enhancements have significantly reduced congestion and improved traffic flow, benefiting residents and businesses alike.

 

Similarly, the $38 million upgrade of the Moreno Valley/March Field Metrolink Station, finalized in July 2025, introduced a second platform and extended the existing one to accommodate eight-car trains. Beyond transportation, the city launched the "ADU for You" program in December 2024, providing residents with pre-approved construction plans for Accessory Dwelling Units at no cost.
