In February 2025, the city initiated a comprehensive upgrade of its traffic signal system, modernizing nearly 200 signals to improve traffic flow and road safety.

 

These enhancements include the implementation of a citywide fiber network, enabling real-time adjustments and synchronization of traffic signals, thereby reducing congestion and improving efficiency at scale.

 

Furthermore, Moreno Valley has expanded its free WiFi Gardens to 35 locations, including parks and public facilities, ensuring residents have reliable access to the internet.
