Moreno Valley: A Modern Hub of Connectivity and Innovation

From historic wireless breakthroughs to cutting-edge infrastructure, Moreno Valley embodies the spirit of progress.

In 1903, a single wireless signal crossed the Atlantic Ocean, revolutionizing human communication by bridging vast distances without physical connections.

Today, Moreno Valley mirrors this transformative spirit through its commitment to communication innovation and modern infrastructure.

Recent developments underscore the city's dedication to enhancing connectivity.

In October 2024, Moreno Valley expanded its free WiFi Gardens to 35 locations, including parks and facilities, ensuring residents have widespread internet access.

Mayor Ulises Cabrera emphasized the importance of this initiative, stating, "Our innovative WiFi Gardens continue to open in parks and facilities across the City."

Further advancing its infrastructure, the city secured a $25.3 million grant in July 2025 for the SR-60/World Logistics Center Parkway Interchange Improvement Project.

This project aims to enhance safety, reduce congestion, and improve the movement of goods and people, solidifying Moreno Valley's position as a key logistics hub.

Additionally, the completion of the Moreno Valley/March Field Metrolink Station improvements in July 2025 introduced a second platform and extended the existing one to accommodate longer trains.

These upgrades are set to boost service reliability and frequency, further integrating Moreno Valley into the regional transportation network.

These strategic enhancements reflect Moreno Valley's ongoing commitment to fostering connectivity growth and embracing global communication advancements.

By investing in modern infrastructure and communication technologies, the city continues to build a foundation for sustained economic development and community enrichment.

Just as the 1903 transatlantic signal quietly reshaped the world, Moreno Valley's steady progress in connectivity and innovation is transforming it into a dynamic center of opportunity and growth.
